Mychaelynn Tran
Youth Coach
My name is Mychaelynn Tran and I have been a part of MJKO since 2016, when I was in grade 5. I am now going into grade 11, and these past years with MJKO have been some of my fondest and happiest memories. MJKO has taught me so much and has had a big influence in my life. I have learned to become a better coach and leader, how to box, and how to be more confident in myself, and these are just a few of the valuable things I have learned from MJKO. I have made some of my closest friends here and I love how everyone is a family; always welcoming and accepting of everybody. I have been able to obtain my Level One Boxing Certification and CPR Training. I enjoy teaching and working with younger kids, being one of the older students these days I help out more, through teaching punches, to helping kids put on hand wraps, these small steps have taught me to become a better leader. Also, I have been a part of some MJKO programs like the In Your Corner Program, Ryerson Afterschool boxing program, and Snail Mail sisters group. Some of my interests are staying active, listening to music, especially BTS (Korean Boy Band), drawing and reading. I am excited to be working with MJKO as one of the fitness coaches this Summer and use my skills to help MJKO succeed!
