Aaron Cho

Volunteer Coach
NCCP Level 1

Aaron is a former amateur boxer, who competed in 30+ fights and medaled in various tournaments in Ontario. In 2018, he was scouted by the Korea Boxing Federation (KBF) for professional boxing; however, due to financial uncertainties, he returned to Canada to pursue a career in law enforcement instead.

During his studies, he learned how various community programs and services play a vital role in positive youth development, gang diversion and creating a sense of belonging. It was this realization that motivated him to volunteer with MJKO to help promote a positive environment, reduce harm, and restore hope in those that needed most.

After picking up valuable life skills from the sport of boxing, he hopes that he can transfer some of these lessons to the youths of MJKO, and help them to reach their potentials both in and out of the ring.
