Keira Holland

Youth Coach

Keira was introduced to MJKO through the TDSB Weekly Boxing Workouts at the Virtual School. After the programs’ end, Keira actively sought to continue her involvement with MJKO’s activities, such as the weekly live streams for boxing training and the meditations that were recently introduced. Keira loves giving back to the community and providing opportunities for youth to flourish and develop leadership skills.

Keira has been a competitive swimmer with NYAC for 9 years, progressing through the levels. She has also worked as a swim and running coach with NYAC. She has developed a tremendous love of her sport and has been a member of her high school swim team for 3 years and its captain this year.

She is graduating from Earl Haig Secondary School as an Ontario Scholar, recipient of the Queen’s University Principal’s Scholarship and the Kiwanis Club Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement and significant contribution to her community through volunteering. She will be studying Concurrent Education at Queen’s University with a Honours Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Education, and hopes to continue swimming and coaching while there. Keira is thrilled to be a part of MJKO Boxing and is looking forward to the opportunity to make a contribution to this wonderful community.
